National treasure, Maggie Beer, is here with a new book that combines her two great passions: sharing simple and delicious food, and promoting healthy aging. Maggie’s Recipe For Life was created with the help of Professor Ralph Martins – one of Australia’s biggest experts on Alzheimer’s – to deliver 200 healthy and delicious recipes, which also happen to protect the brain as we age.
Maggie stresses that we’re never too young or old to start eating in a way that will benefit us later on. Whether we’re 30 years old or 50, the time to act is now! These recipes were created with the most recent scientific understanding of neurodegenerative diseases. And, they don’t cut out whole food groups, or sacrifice depth of flavour.
