Located in both Brisbane and Sydney, this learning, cooking and dining experience for one person is the perfect way to work on those gourmet BBQ skills! After all that hard work the class will feast on their creations with delicious matched wine.
Conducive to our mostly beautiful year-round weather is the BBQ. Particularly in summer, this backyard activity truly is the one of the favourite Aussie entertaining past-times! However, when we think of a BBQ, the mind often wanders straight to steaks and snags, not necessarily seafood. Instead of dining on the same old classics, our Seafood BBQ Cooking Class NSW/QLD/ACT gives one person the chance to broaden their culinary skills and truly impress those guests.
Conveniently located in the ACT, Brisbane and Sydney with mostly weekend time slots for those unavailable during the week, the participants will be guided through their delicious seafood BBQ experience by a qualified chef who is in an expert in their field. Over the 3 hours, the class will enjoy both hands-on and demonstration style learning, before all indulging on their own 4-course creations with matched Audrey Wilkinson & Cockfights Ghost Wines.
When the participants arrive, they will feast on Turkish Bread with Pukara Balsamic and Oils while they are getting to know each other and their class ahead. After this, they will begin creating their 4-course meal, which includes 2 main courses. The gourmet menu consists of a spectacular starter of Pataks Korma BBQ King Prawn Skewers with Toasted Coconut and Lime; an exciting entrée of BBQ Spiced Crusted Squid Salad; and 2 mouth-watering mains of Crispy-Skinned Salmon Fillet with Wilted Greens, Ginger and Sesame, and BBQ Whole Roasted Spiced Snapper. Each participant will be given all class notes and recipes to take home and recreate on their own BBQ - this creative and gourmet menu is sure to impress guests to no end.
Due to the bonus wine-matching experience with each delectable dish, this class is only for those over the age of 18. It is also recommended that participants wear comfy clothing and closed toed shoes, and is important to note that the menu is subject to seasonal change to ensure the freshest and most sustainable ingredients are used.
