Sydney-Wollongong Weekend Tandem Skydive

Skydiving is one of those bucket list activities – giving a serious and unforgettable rush, and even if they have had the pleasure of experiencing a dive from the sky before, this unique opportunity is like no other. Our Sydney-Wollongong Weekend Tandem Skydive for one puts them the safest hands of Australia’s best instructors (they sometimes do up to 11 dives a day!), experiencing one of Australia’s highest tandem jumps.

They will begin their adventure on either a Saturday or Sunday in Wollongong, receiving a thorough safety briefing before taking off in their plane, soaring through the sky over incredible NSW coastline and stunning blue ocean.

Their experienced tandem instructor will be guiding them the entire way through the journey, before they finally make the leap out of the plane experiencing freefall at over 200km/hour for around an incredible 60 seconds of adrenalin rush, before floating under the canopy for around 5-7 minutes, relaxing and taking in the views. They will finish up on north Wollongong beach after an exhilarating journey from ground to sky and back again.

Their package includes:

- One tandem 15,000 foot skydive over the beautiful beaches of Wollongong on either weekend day

- a three-month membership of Australian Parachute Federation

- a certificate with their name on it to prove they really did it, along with a bumper sticker and loyalty cards!

Some useful tips and rules:

- wear loose clothing and sneakers – jump pants will be provided, as well as gloves and fleece for those winter days

- do not consume any drugs or alcohol 8 hours before the dive, and no scuba diving within 24 hours

- divers must be 16 years of age and above, those over 95kg will incur a surcharge on arrival. Max weight limit 115kg.

- arrive with nothing planned for the day! There may be a bit of waiting if weather is unfavourable.
