The popularity of Asian cuisine is evident through the abundance of restaurants strewn throughout our streets across the country. With a South-East Asian menu, this Easy Asian Dinner Party Cooking Class will have students feeling confident and inspired to host this three-course meal time and time again.

This class will focus on using the freshest local ingredients to teach participants the techniques and use the necessary equipment to create those fragrant dishes that South-East Asian cuisine is known for. With Noosa National Park and tropical gardens as their backdrop, participants will be greeted with a café style coffee or tea and a freshly baked muffin to enjoy on the veranda before they get started.

Designed to be hands-on, sociable, fun and interactive, this Asian cooking experience only hosts a maximum of 10 per class, and suits people with any level of cooking experience. The three-course meal will feature dishes such as:

• Pumpkin soup Thai style
• Beef salad Thai style
• Mango and prawn curry Thai style
• Stir fried pork with kaffir lime leaves and Thai basil
• Jasmine rice infused with kaffir lime leaves
• Coconut cake Asian style, with a tropical fruit salsa

Students will then have the opportunity to taste the feast of their creation during a sit-down meal providing full servings of these delicious Asian dishes! Complete with a couple of glasses of matching wine and new friends, they will leave feeling inspired and ready to recreate it all at home. To ensure ease of replicating the dishes, participants will be given a folder full of step by step recipes, class notes, tips and fact sheets to use as a reference in their own kitchen.
