Suitable for kids aged from 5 – 15years this experience is for one child to take part on the full day of boating; setting off from Port Lincoln upon an eco-certified boat. Departing at 7am from Port Lincoln Marina; the adventurers travel around 70kms through the Thorny Passage out to Neptune Island’s Shark Bay taking in a stunning array of natural environment and wildlife on the way.

During the tour, the expert staff will share their knowledge of the marine environment and answer any questions. There will be lots of opportunities to enjoy wildlife such as frolicking dolphins and graceful seabirds during the trip, before returning between 6pm and 7pm to the marina.

So, how do you attract sharks towards a boat so people can jump into the water with them? By playing them ACDC of course! This unique audio sound vibration equipment was specially created to ensure there is minimal impact on the shark’s natural habits and environment during tours, which means happier sharks and a better outcome for our passengers. Using techniques like bait or berley brings sharks looking for food and attracts hungry sharks while disrupting their natural hunting habits. Sound equipment attracts curious sharks who are there simply to take a look around; much better for everyone.

Advanced Eco-certification is the highest level of Eco certification available within Australia, and all areas of the tour are governed by the desire to act in the most environmentally, economically and socially sustainable manner possible. The tour is all about gaining enjoyment from the natural environment while respecting the animals and plants within the eco-system.

If the sharks do their part and arrive to see what’s happening; for those who are ready for the challenge, there’s the chance to upgrade the tour to an underwater experience for only $175 payable on board. Passengers who are wanting a memorable chance to swim with sharks have the option of getting up close and personal from the safety of the shark cage; or seeing a 360 degree underwater wonderland and viewing the sharks from the safety of the Aqua Sub while staying totally dry. The option is theirs.

Offering a small group size ranging from 6 to 27 passengers for guaranteed personalised fun; it’s a great idea to pack a camera for the day; or, take advantage of the free photo downloads from all the photos the staff capture during the tour. All passengers receive Morning Tea, Afternoon Tea and lunch, with the option to purchase further snacks and refreshments on board, along with underwater disposable cameras and merchandise. The boat is fully equipped with showers, toilets and change rooms for passenger comfort.

Need to Know Information:

This experience voucher entitles one child to a full day boat tour and shark experience. Tour departs from Port Lincoln, South Australia. It is recommended passengers bring with them – Swimmers and towel, sunscreen and sunglasses as well as a camera if they wish. Morning and afternoon tea and lunch are included on board in the price of the tour. If sharks are sighted, the offer to upgrade to an underwater experience will be provided for $175 payable on board. The upgrade includes a swim with the sharks in the shark cage or Aqua Sub.
